LG launches G Pro 2 with 5.9-inch display in Korea - India Today

The South Korean tech major LG Electronics has unveiled its new smartphone the LG G Pro 2. The G Pro 2 is a follow-up to its flagship G Pro. The smartphone has been introduced in Korean and will make global debut in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2014 to be held on February 24-27 in Barcelona.
On the specifications front, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and 3GB DDR3 RAM. It has 16GB/32GB eMMC memory with microSD slot. Backed by a 3,200mAh, the LG G Pro 2 runs on the latest Android 4.4 Kit Kat.
In a press release, the company said, "The G Pro 2 is the first LG smartphone to benefit from an enhanced 13MP camera with OIS+ (Optical Image Stabilizer Plus) and advanced functions ideal for creating sharing content. LG's proprietary OIS+ technology adds software anti-shake functionality to the acclaimed hardware-based feature already built into the slim camera module for the best photos and videos possible when in motion or in low light situations. What's more, the sensors and lens of the rear and front camera on the G Pro 2 have increased in both size and sensitivity, for images that rival many standalone point-and-shoot cameras."
There is no information on pricing details and its availability outside the Korea market. However, attendees to the MWC 2014 can experience the G Pro 2 and its features first-hand at LG's stall.
