Sony Xperia Z2 leaks out in fresh images, along with a glimpse of the UI - The Droid Guy
With most major manufacturers gearing up to launch a new flagship by the first half of 2014, it's obvious that Sony wouldn't want to stay too far behind either. We have now come across what could well be Sony's flagship smartphone known as the Xperia Z2, although the actual name might be different. The smartphone in question here has been known in the past as the Xperia Sirius and was leaked along with another handset called the Xperia Canopus which was leaked out in Japan recently.Rumors hint that this new smartphone will sport a 5.2 or 5.3 inch IPS display with the resolution unknown. Accompanying the slightly larger display could be a 20.7MP or a 23MP camera sensor, along with the Snapdragon 805 SoC and 2GB of RAM. According to a newer leak, the UI is from Sony's newest iteration of Android 4.3. However, by the time of launch, Sony would want to make Android 4.4 available across its flagship handsets. We expect more leaks to come our way subsequently, but at this point, this is pretty much all there is to know about this mystery Sony flagship. It is noticeable that the design is more or less the same as other Sony flagships.
