BlackBerry Q10 Gets A Price Cut: Flagship QWERTY Smartphone Now Available ... - Gizbot
BlackBerry has been making noise all for all wrong reasons. Earlier BlackBerry had been forced to the reprice BlackBerry Z10 citing pressure mounting from competitors.
Now it is being seen that temporary price has been passed to those who are looking to buy QWERTY key-pad ducked BlackBerry Q10 in India. BlackBerry Q10 is the flagship QWERTY smartphone which was launched at a price upwards of Rs. 45,000 in June earlier this year.
With the latest price cut of 13 %, BlackBerry Q10 will now be made available in India for Rs.38,990. This scheme is valid till January 26, and thus it will help the brand to further penetrate in the India handset market.

"There are several customers in India who love the physical QWERTY experience offered by BlackBerry. At this price point, QWERTY loyalists can take advantage of the powerful BlackBerry 10 platform as well as the unique QWERTY experience that the BlackBerry Q10 offers," BlackBerry India Managing Director, Sunil Lalvani said.
BlackBerry last flagship device: the BlackBerry Z30, has got rather average response from the mainstream users and critics alike. The BlackBerry Z30 comes with a 5-inch HD display and incorporates a quad-core processor.
The BlackBerry Z30 is believed to be the last big ticket phone from the Canadian manufacturer. The BlackBerry Z30 is now available at a price point of Rs. 39,990, which is surprisingly affordable to own.
After making BBM open (now available on Android and iOS), BlackBerry has inked deal with domestic vendors, like ZEN, Micromax and Spice, among others to pre-install the popular app on their respective handsets.

With the pre-loaded BBM apps, users don't need to download apps or pay monthly tariffs, to communicate with fellow BBM mates.
Besides from making BBM free for Android and iOS users, BlackBerry also announced BBM Channels, which will allow brands to engage with people with similar interests and different communities.
