Lenovo launches A7000 4G/LTE in India at Rs. 8999 - Pc-Tablet Media

Chinese tech giant, Lenovo unveiled its budget 4G/LTE smartphone A7000 at an event in New Delhi today. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,999. The device was earlier launched at MWC 2015 this year in Barcelona. The device will be exclusively available on Flipkart, starting April 15th.

They also follow the footstep of Xiaomi, the first flash sale will commence at 2pm today itself. Lenovo claims A7000 to be "Mass Flagship Device" rather than a flagship device.

The new budget Lenovo A7000 features a 5.5-inch HD display with a 720×1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek chipset paired with 2GB RAM. The dual-SIM smartphone will run the latest version of Google's Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

On the Antutu benchmark, it indicates to be one of the best benchmark score in this price segment.

Lenovo A7000 has an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera, with 8GB of memory and can be expanded via microSD card slot.

On connectivity, the Lenovo A7000 includes support for 4G LTE, microUSB, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth. The device supports a 2,900mAh battery. The device weighs 140 grams and will be available in Onyx Black and Pearl White.

The device will also be the first mobile device to feature Dolby's stunning Atmos technology. One can expect the device to compete with the players like Xiaomi, Micromax, Intex etc..
