Lenovo A10 Android convertible laptop: Specs, features details - Northern Voices Online

Lenovo has surfaced an Android laptop amid weak sales of Windows PCs and laps. Dubbed the A10, it is the first Android laptop from the major PC maker. The touchscreen enabled device is a 10.1-in convertible machine that you can flip around 300 degrees into a "fold-back mode." It means you can handle its touchscreen without usual shaking and bouncing in using a touch display on a laptop.

Regarding features, Lenovo A10 is to ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on board. Other specs include a 1366 x 768 HD display, 1.6GHz RK3188 quad-core Cortex-A9 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. It just shows that the new Lenovo tablet is a quite powerful one and users can really consider it as both a tablet and laptop at the same time.

See, both laptop and tablet modes of the A10 show Lenovo's customized Android user interface. The UI with a comfortable app launcher, task bar and status bar lets you enjoy "quick, intuitive access to the app library and desktop." Yet another amazing thing is that Lenovo preloads a file manger app in the device, meaning that you can make "it easy to locate and manage a library of documents, videos and music."

Furthermore, it features a full-size keyboard in spite of the fact that it can also accept inputs via its advanced multi-touch screen. It has stereo speakers to let you enjoy quality content from Spotify, Netflix and other music apps. For video chatting, the A10 mounts a 0.3MP webcam so that you can just lead video chats with decently quality visuals.

In the end, A10's release date and price are not clear. Lenovo has just told media that the device would be available in Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific regions, and no clear release date is mentioned. Regarding price, the A10 is to come for something equal to $240, but it is also uncertain.
