Print pictures from phone, LG launches Pocket Photo Printer at R 14990 - Daily Bhaskar

Printing pictures from your smartphone is now easy with LG's new device. The company has launched a special small device, Pocket Photo Printer (PD233) that you can carry in your pocket to print photos from phone.

 

This printer was earlier this year spotted at LG Korea website (PD221) and has been launched in India now at a price of Rs 14990.

 

The printer that can sit on your palmtop like your smartphone itself is easy to operate and is battery charged. Even when you are travelling this printer can help you get some of the best shots from your phone in a matter of minutes.

 

The printer can print 1000 pics for you with a 313 dots per inches resolution on a 2 x 3 inch wallet sized photo. Single charge can pull about 25 number of prints.

 

 

To your convenience, the printer can accept commands using NFC and Bluetooth, that is just tap four NFC enabled phone on the printer and you are ready to print, or use Bluetooth for printing. Not only mobile phones (Android and iOS), the printer can also be used to print pictures from a laptop, Bluetooth USB and NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity option.

 

The device uses the technology of Zink (Zero Ink) to print pictures. It was specially designed as one of the smallest printer in the world. 

 

The LG "Pocket Photo" app, which is available on the Google Play store and on the Apple iTunes app store, allows users to quickly handle photos, and to bring QR (Quick Response) codes, through which the images can directly be placed on a social networking website.

 

Click the Picture, open the app, and tap your phone against the phone and your photo will pop-out of the printer!
